SITE DIRECTOR

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.

  • Prior experience working in a school environment.

  • Excellent organizational & communication skills.

  • Must be great at multitasking.

  • Bilingual in Chinese and/or Spanish.

  • Proficient in word, excel, access.

  • Full-Time Position.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily operations of the program in support of policies and procedures.

  • Ability to create a fun & engaging learning environment.

  • Motivate, train, develop, & manage all on-site staff.

  • Create community relations and communicate effectively with school administration, staff, & parents.

  • Manages finance, budgeting, supply orders, binder set-up, enrollment rosters, & emergency contact information.

  • Responsible for reporting & documenting any injuries or incidents.

HEAD TEACHER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of High School Diploma.

  • Pursuing a career in education or similar field.

  • Minimum 2 year experience working with youth in an after school / camp setting.

  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.

  • A love for working with children.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily lesson and activity plans.

  • Accurately check students homework and provide academic support

  • Supervise teachers’ assistants.

  • Running group activities such as art projects.

  • Communicate fluently with parents and guardians.

  • Assure safety and supervision of students at all times.

  • Take corrective action to prevent any injuries or accidents.

TEACHER’S ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of 18 years old.

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with youth in an after school / camp setting.

  • A desire to make a positive impact on a child’s life.

  • A team player and willingness to work hard.

  • Must be reliable.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Compassionate attitude and strong understanding of child development.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be assigned to (multiple) classrooms as needed to help the head teacher.

  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor development of each child.

  • Understand the teachers routine when it comes to delivering a lesson plan and running the class.

  • Work with children to promote their learning and development.

  • Communicate with parents and keep them informed about their child’s development.
